About Me

Meet Your Counsellor — Ivaneta

I offer trauma-informed, pluralistic and neurodiversity-affirming counselling for adults seeking gentle, grounded support.
Clients often describe me as calm, steady, and easy to talk to — someone who listens deeply and offers space without pressure.

I speak English, Bulgarian and Russian.

My aim is to create a space where your experience is understood and honoured, and where healing can unfold at a pace that feels safe for you.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe therapy works best when we shape it together.
My style is:

  • Pluralistic – flexible and collaborative

  • Person-centred – your experience guides the work

  • Trauma-informed – your nervous system sets the pace

  • Neurodiversity-affirming – deeply respectful of autistic & ADHD experiences

  • Relational – grounded in empathy and attunement

  • DBT-informed – supporting emotional regulation when useful

There is no “right way” to heal — only your way.

A Little About Me

Outside therapy, I stay grounded through practices that support calmness, attention, and presence — qualities I bring into the therapy room.

I take long walks in nature, read widely, and keep a gentle yoga practice. I’m also part of a Zen Buddhist sangha that supports people with trauma histories and neurodivergent experiences.

I don’t bring Buddhism or any specific spiritual approach into therapy unless you want to explore mindful practices — but these parts of my life help me show up with steadiness, clarity, and compassion.
